Fire Commissioners are elected officials
responsible for providing general direction in the areas of finance and policy for the
fire district. Fire
Commissioners serve six-year terms.
The board meets at 5:00 pm on the second Wednesday of the month at the
headquarters station: Douglas County Fire District No. 2, 377 Eastmont Avenue, East Wenatchee, WA 98802.

Rich Adams
Commissioner
Commissioner Adams has served on
the Board since 1987 and is currently Chairman of the Board. Commissioner Adams has been a Sergeant with the Douglas County
Sheriff's Office for over 20 years.
Ken Christensen
Commissioner
Ken has been appointed by the
Fire District Commissioners to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of Bill Williams.
Ken retired as a Battalion Chief with the Wenatchee Fire Department after 30 years
of service. He also served 25 years as a volunteer firefighter with Douglas County
Fire District #2. Ken's past experiences with the fire service will surely be an
asset to our department.
Bob Black
Commissioner
Commissioner Black is
the newest member of the Board of Fire Commissioners. He was sworn
in at the January 2008 Fire Commissioners meeting.
